Mapping in my mind the events of the day, I tried to remain calm.

For most of my life, my parish has been an important hub for me. Of course, it is the center of my sacramental life.

During the last two weeks, children from St Lucy and St. Julie Parish took part in Camp Thrive and immersed themselves in an amazing experience of learning, playing, and developing God-given talents.

Last week, twenty-three young parishioners from Our Lady of Refuge Parish were grateful to have received a Fr. Jorge da Silva, SM, Memorial Scholarship to support their university or college studies.

Perhaps it is easy to forget that the Socratic maxim “know thyself” is also a Christian imperative.
